My very own perfection

I see this picture, and instantly I'm back at the campsite, sitting around the fire, listening to music and the waves and staring at the night sky full of stars. I look at the shadows, and the hues, and bright bright bright shine of the sun and all I can think is damn everyone should experience this, just once. I can only imagine, and even then on such a small scale, what the world would be like if children could watch the sun set, hear the waves, and KNOW, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the world is a grand, magical, wondrous place; that it's so very much larger than the four walls they live in; that if they but open their hearts, the world could be such a beautiful gift.
